Nigerian talent manager and special adviser on tourism in Cross River state, Ubi Franklin, has joined the fight against coronavirus by revealing that he is donating his 4 months salary to Cross River State Government towards the fight against COVID -19.

The Made Men Music boss made his intention known in a letter he wrote to Governor Ben Ayade, asking that he accepts his donations as his little contribution to the Governor’s good work in the fight against Coronavirus.

The news was shared via his social media where he posted documents as proof of donation

Nigerians however are not taking it lightly as they took to the comment session to express their disappointment saying he should have directly disbursed the money to people in need instead of donating to the government

“Why not use it to do something in your own small community so they can see and benefit directly from you.you all be giving government money while your neighbors be dying “

Meanwhile, Some are of the opinion that he is seeking political favors.

“Anyone who donates to government is seeking a place in government after the covid season he just invested in Nigeria “

Following his donation, Ubi joins the list of notable names who have come out to support the Government towards fighting the dreaded COVID -19 PANDEMIC in the country.
