My Injury Not Serious – Osimhen

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has allayed fears that he could be out for a long time through injury.

Osimhen was replaced in the 58th minute second by Loic Remy after clutching his groin in Lille’s 3-0 win against Bordeaux last weekend.

Speaking about the injury, Lille coach, Christopher Galtier revealed that Osimhen had pains in his adductor which could be a big problem.

But speaking to Brila FM, the former Wolfsburg player has disclosed that he will be in action for Lille this weekend.

He also said he should be ready for the Eagles’ 2019 AFCON qualifier in November.

“I got discomfort in my groin, but no cause for alarm, I’m working to get back to full fitness and I will be back for the game this weekend and by God’s grace I’ll be back for Nigeria’s game next month,” Osimhen told Brila FM from France.
