Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has said he served the people of Kogi State very well during his first term to merit securing 100 per cent of the votes from his constituency in the state’s governorship election on Saturday.
Governor Bello, who is the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC in the election, stated this at a rally in his home constituency of Agaza on Monday.
The governor noted that despite the scarce resources available to the state, his administration worked to ensure the equitable distribution of infrastructure projects in the state as well as improving the security architecture of the state, thereby saving the lives and properties of residents and business investors.
He said: “Amidst the scarce resources, amidst challenges in my first term, we are able to meet the yearnings and expectations of the people.”
The governor urged the people to exercise their franchise, insisting that nothing less than 100 per cent votes was expected from the area on Saturday.
