Beyonce has paid tribute to late rapper Nipsey Hussle who was shot dead in front of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles yesterday.
Ermias Asghedom known as Nipsey Hussle, was shot dead yeterday in front of his store in Los Angeles. Many celebrities have taken to their social media account to pay tribute to the late rapper and sent condolence to the family.
Beyonce took to her social media handle, sharing a photo of the rapper when he was a child, she wrote:
‘I’m praying with every ounce of my heart for your family,’ Beyonce wrote, adding, ‘Rest In Peace, Nipsey.’
The rapper’s music sales increases 2,776% after death. Fans are flocking to streaming platforms to listen and purchase Nipsey Hussle albums since learning Nipsey was shot and killed Sunday afternoon. Given Nipsey owned 100% of his masters, all of the sales and streaming revenue goes directly to Nipsey’s estate. Nipsey also owned multiple business and charities which I am sure the hip hop community will rally behind to continue his legacy.
