Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly plotting a move for Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba.
According to Spanish newspaper, Sport, Alaba could be on his way to the reigning La Liga champions this summer in a mega-money deal.
Alaba could arrive as competition for Jordi Alba, who recently signed a new long-term contract.
Bayern are possibly open to selling too, with a deal for Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez reportedly close to completion.
The 26-year-old who has won seven Bundesliga titles, three German Cups and the Champions League with Bayern, recently admitted he could be tempted by a new challenge.
“I am aware that some day I will have to make a decision but I still feel good here.
“But I can also imagine myself taking a different path, taking another step or seeking a new challenge.
“I’m leaving it all open. I have goals this season I want to reach. That is why there’s no room for those thoughts at this moment,” he said.
