KISS DANIEL CHARGED TO COURT BY HIS RECORD LABEL

KISS DANIEL LEAVE G WORLDWIDE ENTERTAINMENT

The Nigerian artiste Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel popularly known as “kiss Daniel” is charged to court by his record label G- worldwide for a breach in a seven-year contract by using its intellectual property without their consent. “kiss daniel” assigned a new manager to solicit for negotiations, bookings and entering performance agreements to songs from his album “new era” and yet released “evolution” such as “Yeba , Senorirta Sofa “and others. Basically, for the period of time that Kiss daniel’s contract will be valid, every song, album, even the name “kiss Daniel” belongs to the company G- worldwide. Therefore, the artiste’s action is realized as inappropriate which spurred the company to charge Anidugbe oluwatobiloba Daniel to the Federal High Court , Lagos in suit no. FHC/L/CS/1758/2017 between G-Worldwide Ent Limited vs. Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe Daniel to affirm its rights over the songs in both albums and right over the stage name: ‘KISS DANIEL”.
