BLACKS ARE ENDANGERED IN COLD WEATHER!!!!

Overtime the sun tends to be so scorching one could possibly faint. But did you know that the cold weather is hazardous for a dark skinned person because those with darker skin tones must spend more time exposed to the sun to make the same amount of vitamin D as those with lighter skin tones. Remember Vitamin D maintain the health of bones and teeth, supports the health of the immune system, brain, nervous system and regulates insulin levels and aid diabetes management which a dark skin produces when exposed to sun. Studies have found no difference in dark skin tones making vitamin D compared to lighter skin tones. Surprisingly , it is not effective for light skinned people to consume vitamin D pills everyday according to Mark Dolland, an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Although, the supplement vitamin D is efficient for Dark Skinned people in colder countries and for those in nursing homes (old people) because they stand to be at risk.

YES! Nigeria or Africa can be hard to live in because of the excess heat rays from the sun ....

The black skin melanin serves as a protection from Ultraviolet radiation therefore, a dark skinned individual has to spend more time in the sun to produce vitamin D.
