French Ligue 1 club Lille have announced the signing of Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, from Belgian side Sporting Charleroi.
Lille confirmed Osimhen’s signing in a statement released on their official website on Thursday.
Osimhen signed a five-year-contract that will see him be at Lille until 2024.
The 20-year-old was a member of the Super Eagles squad that finished third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
He scored 20 goals, provided four assists in 36 appearances in all competitions for Charleroi last season.
He was part of the Golden Eaglets side that won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, where he claimed the golden boot and silver ball award.
