Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has stated that Manchester United interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer, deserves the job at Old Trafford Permanently.
The Norwegian has won 11 of his 13 games in charge, only losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champion League since he replaced Jose Mourinho last December.
The former Molde coach has guided the club to fourth position in the League from sixth, and also a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Ahead of the crunch tie on Sunday, the former Borussia Dortmund said Solskjaer has the quality to be in charge of the club fully next season.
“He has the quality. “He deserves the job 100%”, Klopp said.
The German, whose side go into Sunday’s match in second place;14 points ahead of fourth-placed United added:
“Can you imagine one situation when they say we are bringing in another manager’? Then a new manager will lose one game and that’s not possible.
“He’s in charge and there is no doubt he will be the manager next year as well. That’s clear.”
United have picked 25 points out of a possible 27 in nine top flight fixtures since they appointed their former player as manager on December 19.
They picked up only 26 points in their first 17 league games under Mourinho this season; their worst record at that stage in the league since 1990/91 season.
