Singer Ric Hassani Opens Up On How He Got His Stage Name

Singer and songwriter Ikechukwu Eric Ahiazulu   has given a hint on how he got his stage name Ric Hassani, the singer who hails from Rivers state said that he just removed the first letter which is E from his middle name Eric and  just added Hassani to form his stage name Ric Hassani.

On how he got Hassani, he said he was watching tv one day and came across a character called Hassani and he fell in love with it. He added that he just bears the muslim stage  name he does not practice the religion. Speaking on how he emerge on the music scene, he posited that his first track gentleman gave him the big break when it dropped years back.

According to him he realized people fell in love with the track and that motivated him to do more along that line.

Ric Hassani started his career as a rap artist in 2008 before he switched  into singing in 2012. on why he Switched, he, posited that he has always fallen in love with singing and he”s better at it.

He added that his genre of music is quite different and new  from what others do because he has employed uniqueness in his style of music.  Speaking on how big his fanbase is, he asserted that he can’t put a figure to it but he knows that it’s growing bigger and bigger everyday, saying he’s done a lot of shows abroad in year 2019.

Speaking on the post he made about having more crowd than Rema in the Uk, Ric Hassani cleared the air saying that it was not a big deal.He clarified that he was only trying to say that many Nigerian artistes have had more crowd at event abroad and they don’t really get that kind of publicity.

On his family and educational background, he said that his parent are professors in the university of Port harcourt affirming that he came from  an academic family, saying he just decided not to follow the academic path.

Ric Hassani,affirmed that  nature and life gives him inspiration.
