A source said 25-year-old Ariana and Pete, 24, split over the weekend, “with both parties acknowledging that it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off.”
Though, the duo are yet to make official statement about their split.
The source added that the couple still loves each other, but TMZ claims that “things are over romantically.”
Davidson confirmed their engagement in June, after they met when Grande guest hosted ‘SNL’ in 2014. They had been dating a few weeks at the time.
Davidson and Grande began dating shortly after she broke up with late rapper Mac Miller.
Shortly after they began dating Davidson claimed he got death threats from several people.
Initially, rumour of their breakup surfaced when they both skipped the AMAs last week, and Pete covered up his Ariana neck tattoo.
