The Senate has questioned Mohammed Adamu, the acting Inspector General of Police, over the rising spate insecurity across the country currently.
The IGP was summoned and appeared before the upper legislative chamber behind closed doors on Tuesday.
The federal lawmakers had invited Adamu to brief them on the security situation in the country, particularly what the police is doing to address the rampant kidnappings and banditry in different parts of the country.
