Italian Seria side, AS Roma, have sacked their head coach, Eusebio Di Francesco, with immediate effect.
The sacking comes a day after the club were dumped out of the UEFA Champions League by Portuguese side, FC Porto, on Wednesday.
Roma, who took a 2-1 win into the second leg of the round of 16 tie, lost 3-1 in Portugal after extra-time, and were knocked out 4-3 on aggregate.
The Rome-based team are fifth in Serie A on 44 points and are 28 points behind league leaders, Juventus.
