Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all finished the 2018/2019 Premier League season as joint top scorers with 22 goals.
The three players had the chance to finish as top scorer on the final day of the season but ended tying on the same number of goals scored.
Aubameyang and Mane both scored two goals each against Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively, while Salah failed to score on the final day.
Last season, Salah emerged top scorer in the Premier League with 32 goals, beating Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane to the award.
All three players have the chance to add to their tally in all competitions this season as Salah and Mane will be in action for Liverpool in the Champions League final, while Aubameyang and Arsenal will face Chelsea in the Europa League final.
Meanwhile, Brazilian goalkeeper, Alisson Becker won the golden glove after keeping 21 clean sheets, becoming the first Liverpool keeper to achieve the feat in a single Premier League season.
He finished ahead of fellow Brazilian, Ederson of Manchester City, who had 20 clean sheets to his name.
