Neymar has hinted at a possible return to Catalan club, Barcelona, this summer. The Brazilian has been left out of all Paris Saint-Germain matches so far this season, after voicing his desire to quit the Ligue 1 champions and return to Spain.
The La Liga champions have had two bids for the 26-year-old rejected by PSG, who according to reports, are holding on to cashing in on the former Santos’ star, whom they signed for $280 million in 2017 from the Catalans.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the play maker, and also had a bid which included Luka Modric and $160 million rejected by the Paris giants.
But sources in France say Neymar wants to rejoin Barcelona, so as to make it right with the fans, having left in a controversial circumstance.
While he was left out PSG’s 4-0 victory over Toulouse in the league on Sunday, he went to Instagram to like series of posts by Barcelona players, following their 5-2 win against Real Betis.
According to Dailymail, Barcelona would return to France this week to make a fresh bid for the player’s return before the transfer window closes on September 2.
