Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, scored against Chelsea on Sunday at Stamford Bridge to deny The Blues their first Premier League win of the new season.
Ndidi grabbed the equalizer for his team, Leicester City, in the second half of the encounter, after Chelsea had gone ahead with a Mason Mount’s striker in the first half.
The draw means Chelsea are still looking for their first competitive win under new boss, Frank Lampard.
It is the second draw of the new league season for Leicester, following last weekend’s 0-0 home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Chelsea took the lead in the seventh minute through academy graduate, Mount, who muscled the ball off the unsuspecting Ndidi and fired past Kasper Schmeichel.
In the 66th minute, Ndidi made amends for his error, as he rose highest in the box to head home James Maddison’s corner to make it 1-1.
Ndidi’s last goal was in January this year, in the 2-1 home loss for Leicester against Southampton.
Newly promoted team, Sheffield United, beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in the other game played on Sunday.
