Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe Make FIFPRO World XI

Recently crowned FIFA Best Player Of the Year, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Eden Hazard were selected in the 2018-2019 FIFPRO Men’s World Eleven.

The list was unveiled at this year’s FIFA Best award held at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy on Monday.

Other players who made the list are Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Matthijs de Ligt, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Frenkie de Jong and Luka Modric.

FIFPRO, the World Player Union, invited professional male footballers worldwide to pick a team with one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards based on their performance during the 2018-2019 season.

The players with most votes in their position were selected for the World 11. FIFPRO received ballots from more than 23,000 footballers in 68 countries.
