Lionel Messi was left behind by Barcelona team bus, after their dramatic defeat to Liverpool in Tuesday’s second leg semi-final Champions League clash at Anfield.
According to Spanish TV channel, El Chiringuito, the Barcelona bus left for the airport while Messi was held behind by anti-doping testers.
However, he eventually made alternative arrangements to catch up with his teammates.
Messi refused to speak to the press after the defeat, which saw his side knocked out of the competition 4-3 on aggregate despite holding a 3-0 win in the first leg.
