Man United Create New PL Goal Record At Norwich As Liverpool Beat Spurs

Liverpool returned to winning ways after dropping points last weekend, with a 2-1 comeback win against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Sunday.

Second half goals from Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah cancelled out Harry Kane’ s early strike.

The win means Liverpool extend their lead over Manchester City to six on 28 points while Spurs are 11th on 12 points.

Spurs had a dream start as Kane reacted quickest to head the ball in after Hueng-Min Son’s shot came off the crossbar via a deflection.

Liverpool were back on level terms in the 52nd minute thanks to Henderson who drilled the ball into the far corner.

With 15 minutes remaining Salah completed the comeback, netting from the spot following a foul on Sadio Mane

At Carrow Road Manchester United beat Norwich City 3-1 to claim their third win of the season.
United’s first goal scored by Scot McTominay means they are the first team to score 2000 Premier League goals.

McTominay gave United the breakthrough on 21 minutes after smashing in a loose ball following a corner.
United had the chance to double their lead on 30 minutes after they were awarded a penalty but Tim Krul got down low to deny Marcus Rashford from the spot, after a foul on Daniel James.
Rashford made amends in the 30th minute as he found the net this time, tucking away a brilliant cross from Dan James.
With one minute remaining in the first half United were awarded another penalty but Krul saved again, pushing Anthony Martial’s spot kick wide, following a handball by Cantwell.
In the 73rd minute United went 3-0 ahead as Martial finished a wonderful flowing move before chipping the ball over Krul.
Norwich got a consolation goal through Onel Hernandez who drove into the box and smacked the ball past David de Gea.
United move up to 7th spot on 13 points in the league table with Norwich in 19th on seven points.
And at the Emirates, Arsenal threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against Crystal Palace.
Arsenal took the lead in the 7th minute as the visitors failed to clear their lines after a Nicolas Pepe corner and Sokratis pounced to volley home after Granit Xhaka’s header.
Just two minutes later Arsenal doubled their lead as Lacazette met another Pepe corner at the near post and Luiz bundled home.
On 32 minutes Palace scored through Luka Milivojevic who sent Bernd Leno the wrong way from the spot after a foul on Wilfred Zaha.
Palace  completes the comeback on 52 minutes off Ayew who headed in James McArthur’ s cross.
Arsenal thought they had scored the winner on 83 minutes through Sokratis but after consultation with, VAR, referee Martin Atkinson overturned the goal following a foul on Luka Milivojevic in the build-up.
With the draw Arsenal now sit fifth on 16 points, a point above Palace.
