Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, a former Super Eagles captain, has been named in the all time African Premier League eleven list.
The list was compiled by The Sun and published on their verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Okocha’s inclusion was due to his impressive displays for Bolton Wanderers from 2002 to 2006, leading them to the final of the 2004 League Cup final where they lost 2-1 to Middlesbrough.
Other players on the list are Bruce Grobbelaar of Zimbabwe who featured for Liverpool; Cote d’Ivoire trio, Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure and Kolo Toure; Michael Essien of Ghana and Mohamed Salah of Egypt.
Others are Lauren Etame Mayer of Cameroon, Sadio Mane of Senegal, Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez and Lucas Radebe from South Africa.
