Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has said he will gladly join others in beating any Nigerian politicians abroad if he has the opportunity.
In a recent interview with ObjecTV Media, the Grammy award-nominated singer urged the members of the proscribed Indigenious People of Biafra (IPOB) and other civil groups to notify him anytime they want to disgrace any Nigerian politician outside the country.
According to him, he was in Europe when Ike Ekweremadu, former Deputy Senate President, was attacked at the New Yam Festival on August 17th.
Speaking about the the incident, he said; ”what I would say is that next time any group of Nigerians are planning to beat up any Nigerian politician, and they don’t let me know about it, I will be very offended. That is the only thing I have to say about that because I was in Europe. The more hands, the merrier.”
