I Want To Help Ronaldo Break Records At Juventus - Sarri

Maurizio Sarri, Juventus’ new boss, has said he wants to help Cristiano Ronaldo break records at the club.

Sarri stated this during his official unveiling ceremony on Thursday.

“At Chelsea I coached some very strong players, but training Cristiano will be yet another step forward. I’d like to help him break some new records,” Sarri said.

The 60-year-old former Napoli coach described taking over as Juventus as a new step forward in his coaching career.

“It’s been a long journey for me made up of gradual steps. I’m happy to be at the most important team in Italy and this is a further step forward after the experience at Chelsea,” an elated Sarri said.

He also said Juventus’ determination to have him as their new manager convinced him to join them.

During his time at Chelsea, Sarri won the Europa League, leading the London club to a 4-1 win against city rivals Arsenal, in Baku in May.
