FORBES SLAMMED FOR USING KYLIE AS COVER

Kylie Jenner is the cover of Forbes 2018 magazine as a “self made billionaire”. Twitter family didn’t succumb to the idea of the phrase “self made” because of her rich background. Dictionary.com rendered their sneering assistance by giving a definition of self made as having succeeded in life unaided, another twitter post says “calling Kylie Jenner a ‘self-made billionaire’ is like claiming you made soup from scratch because you opened a can and reheated it.” Some called it a “slap in the face” and questioned the integrity of the company.

 

While the criticism was one some twitter users couldn’t support their claim because she made use of her family’s investment extraordinarily to have launched her own cosmetic brand called Kylie Cosmetics less than three years ago, and has since sold more than $630 million worth of makeup, according to Forbes. She sold an estimate of $330 million In 2017 alone.
