Cameroon Sacks Clarence Seedorf

The Cameroonian Football Federation  (FECAFOOT), have sacked Clarence Seedorf as head coach of the Indomitable Lions.

 

FECAFOOT made the announcement on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday.

His assistant and former Dutch teammate, Patrick Kluivert, was also relieved of his duties.

Seedorf’s exit from his position was as a result of the Indomitable Lions’ exit in the round of 16 at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Cameroon lost 3-2 to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, to lose their title as African champions.

The former Ajax, Real Madrid and AC Milan star, was appointed in August 2018.
