Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), is expected to return to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja, on Thursday, for further questioning.
It would be the third day Fatoyinbo would be grilled by the police over the rape allegation brought against him by wife of popular singer, Bisola Dakolo.
He submitted himself to the police on Monday, but the interrogation commenced on Tuesday, where he reportedly spent the night.
According to The Punch, he was released on Wednesday after perfecting his bail condition, however, expected to return to the Force headquarters for more grilling today.
The Nations newspaper said Frank Mba, a Deputy Commissioner of Police and Force spokesperson, confirmed to it on Wednesday that, “He was released in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday), but he is back to the Force CID. The witnesses we were expecting from Port Harcourt (Rivers State) and others were also interviewed yesterday before his release.
“At the end of the day, we granted him bail, but he is back to Force CID now.
“So, Fatoyinbo is back and we are still continuing our work. He is most likely going to be grilled today (yesterday).”
On whether or not Dakolo was also invited for interrogation, Mba added: “She is at liberty to come to the FCID because the case involves her.”
