AFCON Qualifiers: Musa, Chukwueze, Osimhen 20 Others Invited For Benin, Lesotho Games
Ahmed Musa, Daniel Akpeyi and Bryan Idowu made a return to the Super Eagles as they are part of Gernot Rohr’s 23-man squad for next month’s AFCON qualifying double-header against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
The list was released on NFF’s verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Other players who made the cut are Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, William Troost-Ekong, Kenneth Omeruo, Ola Aina, Joe Aribo and Ramon Azeez.
Others are Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Chidozie Awaziem, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Paul Onuachu, Maduka Okoye, Shehu Abdullahi among others.
Meanwhile the trio of Oghenekaro Etebo, Peter Olayinka and Leon Balogun have been placed on standby.
