Mr Afeez Olabisi who is one of the Counsel representing the defendant Naira Marley revealed that The Charges will be dropped on the conditions that the defendant will write a written apology, self isolate for 14 days having mingled with people who are believed to be at risk and also undertake that they would not indulge in such convergence again. He further stated that the court adjourned the case on account that all conditions must be met before the charge is struck out.
Recall that Naira Marley turned himself in to the police after attending the Birthday party organised by Funke Akindele at their home in Amen Estate.
Funke Akindele who was arraigned on Monday pleaded guilty on the charge against her and was slammed with a fine of N100,000 including a 14 day community service while also placing herself on self isolation for 2 weeks at a location that would be determined by the government.
