Jose Mourinho Holds First Training As Tottenham Coach [PHOTOS]
Jose Mourinho has held first training session with Tottenham Hotspur senior team players, following his appointment on Wednesday.
The Portuguese replaced Mauricio Pochettino as the London club’s head coach, after the latter’s sacking on Tuesday evening.
The former Manchester United manager had been without a job for almost a year, since he was relieved of his duties at Old Trafford last December.
He faces a tough task at Spurs, who are currently in 14th position in the Premier League table, courtesy of a dismal display in the league this campaign, which led to Pochettino’s sack.
Mourinho’s first game incharge would be a trip to the London Stadium on Saturday, where they will play West Ham United.
