Ghanaian Artiste TicTac ,Vows To Sue Wizkid For Intellectual Property Theft

Ghanaian singer Nana Kwaku Okyere Duah, known famously in Nigeria for the collaborations he did with Nigeria’s Tony Tetuila, has vowed to sue Wizkid to court over intellectual property theft.

The artiste popularly referred to as Tic Tac in a recent interview,  revealed that Wizkid remixed one of his old songs dubbed ‘Fefe Ne Efe’ featuring Tony Tetuila which was released 15 years ago without his approval. He attested that the “Fever” singer had made use of his chorus on DJ Tunez’s song titled ‘Gbese’.

He, however, added that he contacted the “Fever” singer’s management regarding the issue and an agreement was reached but he is yet to get a response from them. He added that he will proceed to sue them if they don’t pay him what is due.

He said: “As a matter of fact, the lawyers are working on it. There have been some discussions… if they don’t pay of course I will sue them. Some figures mentioned but, there are some other things going on”.
